Antalya's first organic bazaar opens Sunday

Residents and visitors will be able to find 100 percent organic products every Sunday in the first fully organic market in the Mediterranean city of Antalya.

Opened by the Antalya Greater Municipality, the market will be located in the Glass Pyramid Culture Center. The products do not contain any chemicals or materials harmful to one's health.

"The goal of the market is to offer the healthiest products to people and to support organic agriculture," said Antalya Mayor Menderes Türel. He said Antalya, which is a very important region for Turkey's promotion, had been active in the organic agriculture market in recent years. "The 100 percent organic bazaar, where healthy and delicious products will be available, will be open in the garden of Glass Pyramid. No living creatures are harmed in the production of these products and their taste is very different since they are produced using old methods. Experts say that such methods are healthier," he said.
